Es war mal wieder soweit, nach einem langen und erfolgreichen jahr habe ich es geschafft. Ich bin wieder mal ein Jahr älter geworden... oder besser gesagt erfahrener ((-: ab 30 wird man eh nicht mehr älter.. nur noch besser.
Ich hatte einen super Tag erwischt.. viel Regen am Morgen, das heisst schon mal ausschlafen, was kann einem denn besseres passieren, somit ist man natürlich auch ready für die lange Nacht.
Nach dem Regen kam der Wind, und somit bin ich natürlich gleich mal aufs Wasser für ne gute Kitesession. Mal wieder ohne Schrammen und Beulen... was ziemlich oft vor kommt.
Nachdem mich dann etliche Leute gefragt haben was ich am Abend mache habe ich mich dazu entschlossen mit meinen Freunden zum Talipapa Markt zu gehen und frieschen Seafood zu geniessen. Naja aus ein paar Freunden wurden dann 25Freunde und das Dinner dementsprechend gross, aber kein Problem, da wir vorher noch reserviert haben... für 15 0-:
So richtig voll gegessen mit frischem Fisch, Muscheln, Shrimps, Chicken... und was sonst noch so alles im Meer rum schwimmt.. ja ja ich weis ein Huhn schwimmt nicht im Meer.... gings dann ab in die erste Bar... sollte nicht die letzte sein. Zu späterer stunde haben wir uns dann ins Hey Jude begeben für die üblichen shots und Jäger bombs... und ab da wirds dann auch schon langsam etwas schwiriger mit der Erinnerung ((-:
Aber so wie ich erfahren habe sind wir noch mal hoch zum Summer place und irgend wann dann mal nach Hause...
Der Hangover am nächsten morgen.. oder besser gesagt Nachmittag war dann auch dementsprechend...
Alles in allem ein rundum gelungener Tag.. so sollten doch Geburtstage gefeiert werden. Schliesslich wird man ja nur einmal im Jahr älter.
Bilder gibt es diesmal keine... da ich meine grosse Cam weise zuhause gelassen habe und alle anderen auch nicht daran gedacht haben.. somit no evidence...
Ich kann nur sagen, geniesst eure Geburtstage denn man Lebt nur einmal... und es gibt keinen Geburtstag zwei mal, schaut nach vorne und nicht zurück... ausser ihr habt so ein erfülltes Leben wie ich, denn ich würde die letzten 10Jahre genau so wiederholen undhoffe das ich das von den nächsten paar Jahren auch sagen kann.

Happy New Year
It's been an amazing year and i hope i can continue my travel living for some more years. My life in 2009 was too good to be true and i know it will be even better next year.
It started wt a big hangover after the white party on Boracay and ended up in the same place. I had an very good Season here, meeting lot of interesting people from all over the world. The summer time in Switzerland was a bit rainy but i still managed to get a lot of time at my happy place. Only work could have been a bit better, but wt the opportunity to become the head judge of the KTA everything was back on the track.
Looks like the KTA is growing and i hope we can grow with it, more events to come this season.
I wish u all a happy new year and keep your life changing and interesting.
and to all you hard workers and money saver keep something in mind;
in Switzerland we can make the time, but here in Asia we have the time !!

merry x-mas
Merry x-mas,
I wish u all a very peaceful x-mas time and lot's of good partys with your best friends.
We have a really windy week behind us and it looks like it will calm down a bit for the next few days. I'm on the water every day, practicing big air kiteloops and pumping the adrenaline.
The island is full for the next weeks, the space for each kiter gets a bit smaller... still enough, if you don't have to kite in front of the crowd all the time.
Every time i see all the crowd on white beach, i wonder how many people we need on one side of the island to flip it?
The preparation for the x-mas and new years party i s full on. We'll have our annual x-mas party in our Kiteresort tomorrow. All kite schools from Bulabog come together and celebrate with a big BBQ buffet. After that we will hit white beach for more boooze and party. 25. December and 1.january our school will be officially closed. Also instructors have a right to be hungover (-: The main reason i like x-mas over here much more then back in Europe is, that the people here are not about midnight and sunday shopping, spending as much money as possible on gifts because other people might give you more respect if the gift was very expensiv, that's all bulls*+"t, this is about comin together and celebrate.

wind s up and down
We're blessed with wind again. after the wind flop in Hong Kong i'm back in windy Boracay. The wind s bit up and down these days, so u ride a 9m in the morning and 12m in the afternoon, but hey... it's still very good conditions, guess we're all a bit spoilt here.
Gonna get some riding pics up soon, as there are a few cameras out every day. I tried that Hadlow pro today... uhhhaaaa don't loop that biotch too hard, pure C-kite. it's better when u got an extra 50m distance to the beach, as there is no depower after the landing.
I worked on the back to blinds and raily-downloops to blind today, gotta say some were pretty succesfull, but i guess it would have been a bit better wt a clear head (-: well it was friday night... Still the best hangover cure.
Should go get my mandala spa treatment soon as my body starts to hurt in every corner. guess these kiteloops wt 12m kites are not too good for my knees and back.
time for an afternoon nap, to get some more kiting and artwork done later.

final day...
again.. no wind, after teasing us for half of the day with 6-9kt it finally disapeared fully.
So all we got done is the course racing events. which is half of the rent... better then nothing.
we are goin to have the price giving ceremony right now.. so i will update u on all the results after that.
